Cabruêra
Born in Paraíba, northeast Brazil, Cabruêra has developed over 20 years a work that goes deep into the Brazilian culture, particularly the nordestina (northeastern).
The band recorded 6 albums full of quotes from popular songs and reinterpretations from songs immortalized in the public domain.
Working independently the band has taken its music and brazilan popular culture to the world, performing in 20 countries including Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Womad in the UK, Summerstage in the US and Montreux Jazz Festival among others. This release celebrates 20 years of touring and an important moment of the band being, also a recognition for the preservation of the bands memory.
