About Us
Polen Records is a Colombian record label based in Bogota, that since 2006 seeks to give voice to an independent Latin-American sound. It began as a risky but refreshing idea with the intention of releasing music that did not seem to have room in the market. Polen's first release was Bajotierra's Los Días Adelante, followed by Bomba Estéreo's debut EP, Vol.1, and Chocquibtown's debut LP, Somos Pacífico.
Our catalogue exposes the artistic line we seek to maintain and help create, revealing the multicultural identity of our country.
At Polen Records we admire and appreciate the music our artists create and understand our job as a collective effort to get this music to the widest audience possible.
